I graduated from Queen's University with a Bachelor of Arts, Honours in Psychology and continued my education at Yorkville University, where I completed a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology. I am trained in Nonviolent Crisis Prevention Intervention, Trauma Informed Care, ASIST, and Mental Health First Aid. I am exceptonally passionate about de-stigmatizing mental health care!
I provide individual counselling services to adolescents, young adults, and adults experiencing a range of mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, adjustment disorders, trauma, relationship issues, stress, and chronic pain.
I use a person-centred eclectic approach tailored to each individual client based on their presenting issues. I intergrate Attachment Theory, Polyvagal Theory, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness perspectives, and the Internal Family Systems Model to provide you with a broad set of tools for your mental wellbeing.
